Dryzone Mould-Resistant Sealant is a premium sanitary-grade silicone joint sealer designed to resist the growth of mould, even in environments with persistent condensation, minimising the risk of staining and the need for replacement. The one-part sealant comes ready to apply straight from the supplied mastic cartridge and nozzle.
The Problem with Mould on Standard Sealants
Silicone joint sealants are widely used in areas that are subject to high levels of condensation and mould growth, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Occasional or isolated occurrences of mould growth on silicone joins will usually not cause a problem, as the mould can be removed with appropriate cleaning solutions. However, constant condensation and heavy mould growth often leads to the permanent decay or discolouration of silicone joints, making it necessary to remove and replace the affected material.

High Silicone Content for Easy Application and Maintenance
The high silicone content formulation of Dryzone Anti-Mould Sealant makes application an easy and pleasant experience using a standard mastic gun. Adhesion is excellent and it remains flexible during handling time making for neat joints, no matter the conditions. Once applied the joint will be touch dry in 20 minutes and fully cured within 24 hours. The resultant surface can be cleaned and maintained using the Dryzone Mould Removal and Prevention Kit.
