Concentrated Woodworm Treatment (HSE No. 8152)
SoluGuard Concentrated Woodworm Treatment is a concentrated woodworm treatment supplied in water-soluble sachets.
Once diluted, it can be applied to timber using a paintbrush or sprayer.
Each pack contains 5 sachets, each of which dilutes in water to produce 5 litres of woodworm treatment - producing 25 litres in total.
Once diluted, SoluGuard Woodworm Treatment can be applied to affected timbers by brush or spray at a rate of 1 litre per 3 - 4 m2.
Each pack of 5 sachets is enough to treat between 75 and 100 m2 of timber surface.
SoluGuard Concentrated Woodworm Treatment is based on the tried and tested active ingredient Permethrin which targets all stages of the woodworm's lifecycle (eggs, larvae, and adult beetle). It's microemulsion formulation allows for enhanced penetration into the timber surface.
When treating smaller areas, SoluGuard Ready for Use Woodworm Treatment should be considered.
Ready for Use Woodworm Treatment (HSE No. 9321)
SoluGuard Ready for Use Woodworm Treatment is formulated for long lasting protection. The microemulsion formulation allows for enhanced penetration into the surface, giving long-lasting protection against woodworm.
To ensure a high level of effectiveness it contains 0.2% permethrin (double the strength of many competing products).
SoluGuard Ready for Use Woodworm Treatment does not contain any solvents - meaning no "solvent smell" lingering in treated properties and fewer complaints from homeowners!
5 L treats around 15 - 20 m2 of timber
For treating small areas SoluGuard Ready for Use Woodworm Treatment can simply be applied using a paint brush. For larger areas the product can be applied as a woodworm spray.
Note: SoluGuard Ready for Use Woodworm & Rot Treatment should also be considered where timbers have been damp or suffered from fungal attack.
